Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC), the state agency that provides financial aid to help Georgia students realize their higher education dreams. Georgia Student Finance Commission programs include state- and lottery-funded scholarships, grants and service cancelable loans.

HOPE — Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationally — is Georgia’s unique scholarship and grant program that rewards students with financial assistance in degree, diploma, and certificate programs at eligible Georgia public and private colleges and universities, and public technical colleges.

HOPE is funded entirely by the Georgia Lottery for Education, which also funds Georgia’s statewide prekindergarten program. Since the HOPE Program began in 1993, over $5.8 billion in HOPE funds have been awarded to more than 1.4 million students attending Georgia’s colleges, universities, and technical colleges.

The Georgia Independent College Association (GICA) is an association of Georgia’s private (independent), not-for-profit colleges and universities. Through partnerships with institutions, businesses, and community leaders, GICA supports private higher education in Georgia in the areas of public policy, research, fundraising for student financial aid, and collaborative programs.  GICA counts among its members 24 four-year and 2 two-year institutions across the state of Georgia.  These institutions serve over 76,000 students and provide a 6.26 billion dollar economic impact on their communities in Georgia.
