The Toccoa falls is located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College which is a lovely campus. It’s a short walk to the falls, so almost everyone can view the beautiful falls. You can go through the gift shop also by giving a dollar or two as donation. The location is maintained very well. Bathrooms available inside bookstore.
This beautiful waterfall is 186-foot-high,and one of the tallest free-falling waterfalls east of the Mississippi River. It is located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College, a four-year, fully accredited Christian college.
The story of Toccoa Falls includes a tragic footnote. The Kelly Barnes Dam, located above the Toccoa Falls Bible College, failed in the early morning hours of Nov. 6, 1977. Thirty-nine people died in the resulting flood, which inundated part of the campus including a trailer park. The Toccoa Fall can also be reserved for wedding or group activities for $250 per an hour and half for 25 people and $500 for more than 25 people.
